Continence Confidence

The pee and poo journey

Registered Nurse to Nurse Co‚Äčntinence Specialist

The manager of Continence Confidence - Amanda, has had the pleasure of working as a Registered Nurse for 24 years.

After additional and ongoing training, Amanda has worked as a Nurse Continence Specialist (NCS) for 18 of those 24 years. Regular professional development also ensures Amanda continues her competency at an advanced Clinical Nurse Consultant level.

A variety of hospital, community & aged care settings have provided Amanda with a wide variety of clients to work with & help. Amanda has worked with clients who have a diverse range medical conditions & disabilities.

Let us help you to have more confidence with your continence!

Nursing Skills

  • Continence Assessment
  • Product advice, arranging samples, funding access
  • Urinary catheter care, products, troubleshooting
  • Catheter blockage management
  • Bladder Ultrasound scanning
  • Childhood bedwetting management
  • Education sessions for general public, carers & other HCP's

Amanda Mouvet

We are very sociable

Amanda has a very approachable nature including a great sense of humour.

She understands that these bladder & bowel issues are often difficult to discuss.

You may not have even discussed them with your own Doctor out of embarrassment!

Please be assured that we can have a confidential chat.

Please don't put off any potential help - as we know little problems can become worse!

The good news is you are never too old or young to make positive changes!

At home we have cats, chooks and a variety of fish. I enjoy watching the cricket (but dislike footy!),

doing gardening, craft work and nature walks.
